I don't usually find attitude very funny...But when it's coming from my 1 1/2 year old son I've got to laugh. It seems amazing to me that he is learning to talk as well as he is, but the fact that he gets the concept of argument just blows me away.
"Honey, go give that to Mom please." I say in as stern of voice as I can.
"Noo." he replies frankly.
I quickly say "What'd you just say?". As if I can be intimidating.
"No." he says, this time with much less enthusiasm than the first response.
His body language remains confident, knowing that he still has the upper hand. He knows he's cute...And that his little giggle and smirk can make even the most upset daddy crack a smile.
