June Fourteenth Two Thousand Eight; Part I

We are still sorting through the 400+ photos from our wedding day, but I thought I should get a few posted meanwhile. It was a beautiful day; Doug Burg really captured countless amazing photos. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it; especially our families and The Josh Davis Band-you all rock and we're forever grateful for everything.

Till death do us part

Our wedding is approximately seven and a half hours away. My son (who is obviously worn out because he stayed up too late with grandma and grandpa last night) is still asleep in bed - and I'm a little jittery so I thought it'd be a good idea to throw something against the wall. I read an amazing blog called i am husband dot com and recently came across some words from actor Will Smith; a little portion of an interview in Reader's Digest where Will shed some real knowledge. RD: You and Jada have been married nine years and, by all accounts, are very happy. What's the key? Smith: Communication. And divorce cannot be an option. RD: Your first marriage ended in divorce.
